November

A note from the CEO
The whole team and I were looking forward to November for various reasons.

First, we attended the Horeca Expo for the second time, and I can confidently say that this year’s edition has exceeded our expectations! We engaged with hundreds of potential clients, existing customers, partners, friends, and interested parties. The whole team gave their all to make this event a huge success, and I couldn’t be more proud to call them my colleagues.

Secondly, we ventured into uncharted waters by hosting a webinar with two of our partners, Piggy and Touch Systems. We have taken a closer look at the intersection of digitalization and customer-centricity. It was uplifting to dispel any doubts about going fully digital, and I plan to continue doing that by covering other topics in the future.

Also, we finalized a long-awaited partnership with none other than your local loyalty expert, Joyn! We look forward to taking our relationship to the next level and offering a holistic solution to many more clients!

We also gained a new client from East Asia, specifically Taiwan: Gong Cha will soon open their doors in Antwerp and many other locations across Belgium, ensuring no bubble tea lovers are left behind!

There are still a few more weeks left of 2022, but we are already preparing for the next year - thanks for accompanying us on the journey!

If you think anyone in your network would benefit from this e-mail, please feel free to share it with them.

Horeca Expo Ghent
We attended the 33rd edition of the Horeca Expo between November 20 and 24, and what a good thing we did!

It was terrific to meet and engage with existing and potential clients, partners, friends, and everyone who takes the stage of the Belgian food and beverage industry to heart.

You can find various recaps of the expo on our social channels here and here.

We did a webinar!
At the beginning of November, we hosted a webinar collaborating with our partners, Piggy and Touch Systems on digitalizing processes without losing sight of customer centricity.

The speakers shared their industry know-how and customer best practices about creating a tech stack while maintaining relationships through loyalty and other digital solutions.

If you couldn’t make it, here is your chance to rewatch the webinar.

Host Kitchen Brands
At the intersection of supply and demand, we have already seen a worldwide surge in ghost kitchens, but there is another business model: the host kitchen, which is basically an existing restaurant that uses its own kitchen and staff to cook delivery meals for a completely different restaurant or (virtual) brand.

Pretty cool, right? That’s why we decided to tap into this trend and partner up with Host Kitchen Brands!

HKB sets up fast-selling virtual brands in existing host kitchens with minimal impact on current operations.  They come up with branding, recipes, packaging, platform listings, marketing, staff training, and software for each brand while you focus on preparing food. This allows your restaurant to stay profitable by pulling in additional revenue from your existing kitchen and staff.

You can run only one or many more of the virtual brands they offer
The brands are ready to go, and HKB will take care of the onboarding and staff training
The online orders will come in automatically, and your staff just has to prepare and package it up for delivery
You will earn thousands of euros in extra cash profit and increase your gross margin as well

Existing feature reminder
Sometimes it's important to revisit our existing features to ensure you get to utilize the EasyOrder solution fully.

As a food and beverage business owner, you already know how important it is to display allergens in your dishes.

It won't just increase your customer's goodwill but also enhance your brand integrity and potentially spare you from undesirable legal problems.

So, head over to your products, click on edit, and choose the allergens label on the top. Alternatively, you can ask your success consultant to help you.

And no panic if you manage your menu via Deliverect; you can also add allergens, tags, or any additional info about your products on their platform!
