In addition, we provide web and personalized mobile apps and allow merchants to understand their customers and optimize their conversions.

We are looking for a well-rounded Software Developer to join our API team and help us drive the development of the second generation of our SaaS platform. We currently have a monolith (in Laravel) that we will be decoupling into more minor services.

Responsibilities & duties

• You will work on our API, which is currently a monolith that we want to slowly break down into micro-services
• You will build micro-services for the new services
• You will make sure our API is always up-and-running
• You will integrate with our partners and their API’s
• You will think with other teammates how to scale the API, how to implement the performance testing, the caching, ...
• You will be writing high-quality code alongside beautiful unit tests to meet our definition of done
• You will always care about the technical debt on the project and will be expected to point things to improve proactively
• You will be working with your team to resolve problems and deliver solutions

Requirements

• +6 years in Software Development using PHP and its eco-system
• Good experience using Design Patterns and writing clean code  (SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, ...)
• Experience in designing and building API’s
• Experience writing Unit Tests- Experience reviewing code of others and providing constructive feedback
• Experience working in an Agile environment

We are not bound to a specific technology and we are expecting you to  keep an open mind to learn new things but here are some techs we are  using today: PHP 7.4, Laravel 8, MySQL, Redis, Angular 12, Capacitor,  IONIC 5, AWS, Netlify, Bitbucket, ...
